Numera Names Doreen Griffith Chief Executive Officer

Plano, TX — Numera Finance has named industry leader Doreen Griffith to serve as its new Chief Executive Officer. She joined the firm in late September 2026.

Griffith joins Numera’s Board of Directors and will be responsible for the firm’s overall strategy, financial performance, operations, and client service delivery. She succeeds Numera Founder and CEO Sandeep Shroff, who will remain on the Board and assume the role of Chief AI Transformation Officer. In this role, he will draw on his early career as a software engineer and his deep industry experience in finance and accounting to lead enterprise AI and technology initiatives at Numera. He will also continue to oversee some of the firm’s larger startup client relationships. His efforts will focus on keeping Numera at the forefront of the AI and automation curve which will provide deeper, data-driven insights to Numera's clients.

Griffith’s leadership background in the industry includes more than 20 years with Grant Thornton and deep experience across geographic, service line and client service expertise. She is recognized for her leadership scaling multiple business segments while a senior executive at Grant Thornton. Griffith also brings a wealth of board-level experience, as a board member of Grant Thornton LLP, the American Heart Association’s Dallas division and the National Kidney Foundation.

Shroff founded Numera Finance — a market-leading outsourced finance, accounting, and tax platform — in August 2013 and served as its CEO. He now serves as Numera’s Chief AI Transformation Officer. He has been an advisor, mentor, and CFO for several successful startups. Early in his career, he worked as a software engineer and as a stock analyst on Wall Street.
