Bill Shenkin

For forty years, Bill Shenkin has been the CFO for families and the businesses they own — through growth, transition, and sale.

He leads Numera's family office practice. Clients know him from CeFO, the firm he has run since 2000, now part of Numera. He is the senior lead on every family office engagement.

He served as acting CFO for National Geographic's IMAX ventures, and worked alongside the governor of Colorado on the financials that brought the Colorado Rockies to Denver. Beyond the practice, he is treasurer of the USA Triathlon Foundation's board of directors and serves on the tax committee of the National Small Business Association, a 65,000-member organization — meeting with members of Congress in Washington to advance tax legislation for small businesses.

He is a registered CPA with a master's in accounting, and he was named CEO of the Year in 2018 and one of the Denver Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 in 1999.
